We’ll be at NAMM with Bring it On and Break on Through AND the NEW Quake a Mass spatial module – see us with Independent Audio at Anaheim Convention Center at Booth 15319 in ACC North Level 1

Bring It On

Bring it On is our much lauded ring mod with its super smooth sound, really low breakthrough, and switchable Weight and Edge controls as loved by FREQue users around the world.

Break on THrough

Break on Through is a FET distortion unit based on our extension of what was originally a microphone level limiter. The basic circuit has been used (abused!) by producers for years, and adapted as a plug in. Three interactive controls, one with an opto linked CV, determine the extent and nature of how far you break through.

There’s also a CV on the output.

So many F****** possibilities…

Quake a Mass

Quake a Mass is spatial manipulator beyond anything else. It combines image width modulation using MID/SIDE processing followed by an exceptional 3 mode panning processor.

The MID/SIDE processor allows control manually, via the internal oscillator or via an external CV input, or a mix of all three. For those unfamiliar with MID/SIDE processing, it divides the stereo signal into a MID channel (mono – things in both L&R) and a SIDE channel (stereo – things NOT in both sides). On the Quake a Mass the MID and SIDE channels appear on normalised connectors enabling external manipulation. For vinyl pressing non central bass can be EQ’d out on the SIDE channel. For music making the possibilities are endless. The internal oscillator includes our unique Truncation function that slices the top of the sine wave for reducing width with a steady state maximum, like a square wave but with adjustable curves on the transitions.

The panning processor has 3 modes and allows control manually, via the internal oscillators (with Truncation determining the maximum Left/Right range), and external CVs. Or a mix of all three.

Mode 1 – both channels move left and right at the same time

Mode 2 – channel 1 goes left, channel 2 goes right and vice versa

Mode 3 – each channel is independent”
